Detailed description of Minisceongo Golf Club, CLOSED 2016

Minisceongo Golf Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Pomona, New York.

Minisceongo Golf Club first opened for play in 1994. The course was designed by Roy Case.

Minisceongo Golf Club has a number of fairways that are mounded. With sand and grass bunkers, plus elevation changes, coming into play throughout the course, this is a course with variety. Most all the water hazards are part of the marshlands. The greens are average-sized and mostly level.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7065 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4724 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 581 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 170 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 15, a 571 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Minisceongo Golf Club is # 8, a 218 yard par-3.

Very interesting course. Requires use of nearly every club. Everything slopes and moves in different directions. Many blind shots. Fast greens that have multiple breaks. Pin placements are generally quite good for challenging shots. Requires accuracy to narrow fairways and lobbing to greens. Lots of fun.

Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Expensive and worth it
